Journal Entry
A New Look for justinreynolds.co.uk
Time has finally been found to give justinreynolds.co.uk a new look, and to add a few new features.
Most notably I'm adding this journal, which will serve as a blog for news of projects the studio is working on or has completed, and anything else I'd like to write about. To help get the journal off the ground I have added a couple of backdated entries about two recent projects I've been working on, the Scottish Episcopal Church and Cityspace.
Details about recent projects can still be found in the Portfolio, and information about the web development services offered by justinreynolds.co.uk is in Services.
A note about the images used on the new site. The 'handcrafted web design' image on the home page is a collage of images from the Flora Londinensis, a wonderful series of images of commonplace plants engraved by the 18th century English botanist William Curtis. The Flora Londinensis, and other works by Curtis, is available as an e-book from the Project Gutenburg Literary Archive.
The masthead graphic at the top of each page is another collage composed of sections of a Renaissance painting of Cosimo the Elder by Jacopo Carucci.
