The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce is one of the UK's biggest business organisations, representing 1,500 member companies.
justinreynolds.co.uk worked with the Chamber to undertake a complete redesign and restructuring of the organisation's website. We developed a simple, uncluttered navigation system, and a simple, well organised new interface using subtle shades based on the Chamber's blue corporate colour palette.
Great care was taken to ensure the design could accommodate a vast range of content, including news items, events listings, registration and contact forms, photo galleries, and information pulled from backend databases.
The site's underlying XHTML and CSS code complies with World Wide Web Consortium web standards and accessibility guidelines, ensuring that its content can be readily accessed by non-standard browsing devices such as mobiles and screenreaders, and be easily indexed by search engines.
We also integrated the site with Ezone Interactive's WMS content management system, giving Edinburgh Chamber staff full control over the site's content.

"Refreshing and re-developing our website was a major undertaking for a membership organisation like ours. Justin Reynolds patiently and diligently steered us through the process so that what emerged was not just an impressive design, but a flexible and efficient communications and marketing platform."
Graham Birse, Deputy Chief Executive, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce
"We are absolutely delighted at the response we have had to the launch of our new website. I regularly receive compliments from member companies and business people across Edinburgh on the attractiveness of the site, the ease of navigation and the logical structure and language used."
